Scott Bailey was born and raised in Potosi, Missouri, where he grew up raising livestock as an active member of 4-H and was active in the community.  Scott is a 1998 graduate of the Washington University School of Law where, upon graduation, he was awarded the Judge Amandus Brackman Moot Court Prize.  During law school, Scott was selected as the The Best Oral Advocate for the National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C.

Upon graduation, Scott worked for one of the largest insurance defense firms in the state as a civil litigation associate.  An entrepreneur at heart, over the years Scott has started and managed several small businesses in conjunction with his legal practice.  In 2014, Scott Bailey formed his own firm, Bailey Law, LLC, in Clayton, Missouri where he currently practices.  Scott is married to his high school sweetheart, Diana, and has one daughter, Ava.
